أعلن وزير الهجرة الفيدرالي الكندي مارك ميلر أن بلاده ستعيد فتح باب التقديم في 25 فبراير المقبل لبرنامج الإقامة الدائمة للسودانيين، حيث أضافت 1750 طلبا إلى 3250 طلبا تلقتها بالفعل بإجمالي 5000 طلب.
وقال مكتب ميلر إن 4000 منهم سيحصلون على مساعدة حكومية.
وتعرض البرنامج في الفترة الماضية لانتقادات بسبب العدد البسيط والبطء في معالجة الطلبات.
