رحبت وزارة الخارجية ببيان مجلس السلم والأمن بالاتحاد الأفريقي، حول الأوضاع في السودان، والذي دعا السودانيين إلى حوار لا يستثني أحداً،
وانتخابات بنهاية الفترة الانتقالية..

ترحب وزارة خارجية جمهورية السودان بالبيان الصادر من مجلس السلم والأمن بالاتحاد الأفريقي بشأن الأوضاع في السودان والذي تضمن عدداً من النقاط الايجابية التي تمثل خطوة متقدمة في موقف الاتحاد تجاه السودان والمشار اليها ادناه:
– دعا البيان إلى حوار لا يستثني احد، وإلى اجراء انتخابات بنهاية الفترة الانتقالية ، كما رحب البيان بتعيين حكومة تكنوقراط مدنية ، داعياً الى إكمال هياكل الفترة الانتقالية.
– أكد البيان مواصلة الاتحاد الافريقي مرافقة السودان خلال الفترة الانتقالية.
-وأعرب مجلس السلم والامن الافريقي في بيانه عن عزم الاتحاد الافريقي على مواصلة الانخراط والتشاور مع السودان الدولة ذات المكانة المرموقة في القارة الافريقية وأحد الاعضاء المؤسسين لمنظمة الوحدة الافريقية والاتحاد الافريقي ، في كل ما من شأنه العمل على تعزيز الجهود الرامية الى استعادة السلام والوئام والاستقرار والتعافي الاقتصادي في السودان.
تأسيساً على النقاط الايجابية الواردة في بيان الاتحاد الافريقي، تود وزارة الخارجية ان تعرب عن ترحيبها بهذه الخطوة الايجابية، كما تود ان تؤكد انفتاح السودان على كافة الجهود البناءة والمثمرة الرامية الى تحقيق السلام الأمن والاستقرار في السودان.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan welcomes the statement issued by the Peace and Security Council of the African Union regarding the situation in Sudan, which included a number of positive points that represent an advanced step in the AU’s position towards Sudan, as referred to below:
– The statement called for dialogue that does not exclude anyone, and to hold elections at the end of the transitional period. The statement also welcomed the assigning of a civilian technocratic government, calling for the completion of the structures of the transitional period.
– The statement affirmed that the AU will continue to accompany Sudan during the transitional period.
In its statement, the African Peace and Security Council expressed the AU’s determination to continue engagement and consultation with Sudan, a state of great stature on the African continent and one of the founding members of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) and the African Union(AU) , in everything that would work to strengthen efforts aimed at restoring peace, harmony, stability and economic recovery in Sudan.
Based on the positive points contained in the statement of the AU , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to express its welcome of this positive step, and would like to confirm Sudan’s openness to all constructive and fruitful efforts aimed at achieving peace, security and stability in Sudan.
